Markdown Programming

markdown programming, “openclaw”

  • so Openclaw is doing this:

    for each different application, if there is a defined protocol communicating with it, good, use it;

    otherwise, define a protocol for it and then use it.

    Then, with all protocols, Openclaw “translates” (normalizing) those different protocols for an LLM to process later time.

    The output of the LLM is then translated back into those protocols and routed back to the corresponding applications for execution.

  • then, there comes Nanoclaw:

    wrap the entire environment in a container; with lesser code and much, much fewer readme files.

  • Openclaw, this cow has a bit amount of markdown files (790 as of [2026-03-11 Wed]):

  • Nanoclaw has 19; much of a 40x reduction but still, quite a lot:

we are entering an era of declarative programming. where all you need is 100x SKILL.md files and / or 600x xyz.md files.

and it must be secure since it has a 200 lines SECURITY.md file in it. I'm sure React has it too.

on wait, it is not meant for programming?

Update: there's a picoclaw, runs on a cheaper RISC-V SoC long as there's internet connection.

I'm awaiting for a future where bots are running from e-cigarette, long as there's internet connection.
